Re: Rover 75 V6
It's too strong for me.... there are halos coming off back wheel, bright parts of bodywork , plus most distant house in background. Just tried to recreate the halos on a shot & the only was I can do it in Photomatix is with low settings for "Light smoothing" . If using Photomatix ? have you tried increasing light smoothing to + 1 or even +2 ? Would like to see result on same shot as above

Re: Rover 75 V6
SD ignoring Chris!
![]() How about tryng the car on a black background? I love the processing on the car but not the background. I had a quick go, just ignore the top of the car I made a bodge lol you could go further with a moon casting a shadow etc possibly. Last edited by Summerleft; 24-03-2008 at 23:08. |

Re: Rover 75 V6
Thought the same Summer, (Black background)
the best car shots I've seen were with a lesser background to compete with. I like the reflective nature of your car and I think from your last effort your on the right track. I would stay away from greens as they seem to not behave in hdr. Just my humble opinion,,
