Re: A scanned slide.
Even so, great detail. Must look great projected on a screen. Lovely composition & great sky....only thing that spolis it atad is the shado in bottom left, which pulls my eye. Not sure if you could clone it out or possibly crop part of bottom ? Overall a beautiful shot

Re: A scanned slide.
Hope you don't mind but the view looked good!
![]() ![]() Cropped bottom as there was too much sand (plus Dave's dark pool!) - now rocks come out of one corner and breaking waves out of the other! Bit of dodge and burn. Denoised |

Re: A scanned slide.
I should post the full image, it's almost worth printing now.
Thanks very much. |

Re: A scanned slide.
Can I ask what method you used to locally reduce noise?

I use Noise Ninja and applied it to just the sky, which has gone a little 'nutella-ish' as a result |

Re: A scanned slide.
Is that a stand alone or a photo shop plug-in?

Re: A scanned slide.
I love the pimp by Mark, all except the clouds which look like a watercolour painting, very blurred. I know this was done to wipe out the noise but I think it has gone a bit OTT.
Love the rest though, really nice scene there. Cheers, Rob ps... isn't sand supposed to be grainy? <g> |
