I like the first picture but somehow the composition of the second doesn't seem right. I can't put my finger on why exactly though, maybe due to the little guy being almost flat against the tree and not having his tail showing?

Where were these photos taken sir?

these pics were taken at Monkey World in Dorset on the south coast near Poole ,



the main problem ( which is usualy the opposite ) is that the Lemur was too close to get him all in , as seen by the first pic, there is no cropping what so ever on that picture, and is ' as is ' as it came out of my Fuji S7000,
i agree with you on the second pic, i think it lends its self to a tight crop like the first one, this wont be a problem as the original file was a 6meg picture, i will have a mess around in photoshop CS today some time to see if i can improve on it,
