Not a very interesting subject unless your a girl! or not telling us something

But ? thoughts on mono conversion, lighting etc

Not sure what to make of this one Summer, I (speaking entirely as a bloke so know nothing about glamour shoes!!!) feel I am expecting some sparkle off all those stones but it's all a bit dark and gloomy instead of bright and glitzy.

I am sure they'll look much better on your feet come the big day

Love the simple comp and symmetry. Have to agree with Rob, though, expected to see some sparkle from those stones.

yeah someone else mentioned a tweak to the lighting to get somthing off the stones. Will see what I can put together lol

Agree with others, this shot looks like marriage after a few years, depressing!

Liven them up for us!

Well I rather like this shot, the b&w treatment makes them look like something one of those glamorous actress's would wear in an old American movie in the 30's or 40's...

I would agree though that the stones are crying out for a bit of reflected light and I also think the shot may benefit slightly from showing the whole shoe, but that's not to say that your current crop dosn't work, quite the opposite.

The selective sparkles there really do make a difference, well done Summer.

Just to redress Mr Meehan's comment about balance, next month I am celebrating 20 years of marriage to my beloved and my heart still skips a beat when I see her arriving home, knowing I get to spend the next few hours of evening together with her.

Can't have you sticking negativity in the poor girl's head Les, not just a short while till her Big Day!

Are you wearing these shoes for your wedding Summer?

I am yes, I changed my whole colour scheme because of them, well added in mink (brownish for the boys lol) because I ccan wear them again, no harm in using my wedding stuff for portfolio though

gives me some practise before I do the paid weddings later in the year lol
