Simple Leaf shot
Took this afternoon....found this leaf floating in the bird bath & liked the texture & the way the light played on the small droplets of water still on the leaf. C&C welcome & be brutal

Like: the colours and textures Would have preferred to see full shadow Dislike: the burned highlights |

Hmmmm, can't decide to be honest Dave. I like the idea and can see the texture that you wanted to capture. Just not sure this actually does a whole lot for me. It's a very reflective leaf which has resulted in a couple of white spots that don't help here.
It's ok, not one I would look at for long. Was that brutal enough? <g> Cheers, Rob |

I like the composition, texture and colors, but the image doesn't create a feeling in me. I would probably just glance at it and move on, but I can't do that 'cause you're Dave

have to agree with what has already been said but i found the bottom of the leaf being in shadow more distracting than the burned highlights..............
