Re: Slug
That's a corker Marcin, excellent result
I am guessing you needed to use 1/10,oooth of a second to freeze the action ![]() Would like the tob of the slug's body just a touch lighter to bring it forward from the dark background in top right but it's a great picture anyway ![]() Cheers, Rob |

Re: Slug
Doesn't do much for me, to be honest. The slug's somewhat overpowered by the white plant and has burned flash reflections (tho these would be easy enough to clone out) and is difficult to make out. Problem is that I know you can do so much better! Sorry!

Re: Slug
Markulous thank you for your criticism - opinions like yours makes me work harder when looking for images next time. i know about burned reflections from flash and you are right saing that i should do something with it.
![]() thank you for other comments - i'm glad that you like this photo. i liked this contrast between white and green and orange colours and that was the reason i decided to share this photo with you.

Re: Slug
I like it Marcin (as far as I can "like" a picture of a slug
), although I would suggest a tighter crop at the top + LHS to balance the composition - it seems a bit bottom-heavy to me, with little interest (dead space) in the top + LH portions. You are still getting used to your new camera, and it will take a while to get as familiar + comfortable with it as you are with your Fuji 9500 ![]() This is still a helluva lot better than I could do
