Soft Focus - Too Much, Too Little ?

Thought I would have play at soft focus from a Studio Shoot in Sept, of Elle. Duplicated layer , applied Gausian blur, knocked back opacity of layer to 20% , then masked back some detail in eyes & mouth. Does it work Any advice welcome

Quite like the effect, you've done it well, but she looks terrified!

Re: Soft Focus - Too Much, Too Little ?

I think the pose and her look is good, I just don't go much on the blurring which is a bit too strong for my taste. Interesting idea and I must say it is sort of growing on me as I look at it more so give it a week and maybe I'll love it Lovely lass, she's got a natural look that I far prefer to these over-made-up models we see too much of.

Cheers,
Rob
