Re: something new
HaHa! Good, fun image!
Think where she "disappears" into the water needs more attention - maybe forget the reflections and have more splashes Not sure of the "why" the light is where it is - now if she was holding it there....... ![]() Having said all that, an image I've enjoyed looking at! |

Re: something new
Good image, very creative. I like the black and white effect that matches the models old fashioned looks.
Agree on close look that the reflection looks a bit odd, should be shadows ? |

Re: something new
I like the power of the image. The light works well to give it a dramatic quality.
I don't know if it would work better or not but I would have been tempted to try the light over to the right to give more "movement" across the image and also to account for the highlight on the outside edge of her raised left arm. The point where her legs meet the water does seem to defy the physics of what should be happening which is what makes it look a bit odd in that region. The wave movement is from behind her yet there is a splash from the front. In reality in such a situation the water would normally swirl and dip in front rather than splashing up. I think that the problem with the reflection is that the water surface is heavily rippled. Some reflection should be there to connect the model to the water, but it would be little more than a lightening of the image in that region. |
