Re: St Huberts Church
My first reaction was to suggest straightening the converging verticals. However, I then realised that the converging verticals has the effect of the scene closing in on the viewer which is well suited to this creepy environment. A strong point is the highlight on the left side of the middle gravestone. You might consider cropping the gravestone on the far left which would then pull that strong point right on to a third. A good photograph!

Re: St Huberts Church
I really couldn't decide on whether those CV did it for me, I think perhaps they work a bit but are just a touch too much. I've taken them out to vertical to let you see it in contrast so you can decide whether it is better or not.
I just used Transform>Distort to pull out the top corners to get the verticals roughly right. I also cropped the left gravestone as Dave suggested and I think that does make a difference. Cheers, Rob

Re: St Huberts Church
Both of these images work for me - but I do prefer the LH gravestone cropped out.
I would edge it to the first one with the CV's, I think they do add some atmosphere/drama to the picture. |

Re: St Huberts Church
Keep the converging verticals to achieve that overpowering effect. With such a low angle shot my eye at least expects the verticals to converge. The "vertical" verticals loose the drama for me.
