Re: Still life or no?

There is nothing wrong with doing that Boofers, it all comes down to the final result.

In this shot, I like the abstract feel of it but am struggling to see where the musical aspect comes in to it. Unless there is something musical in the reflection but I can't make it out. I can see the ring spanners and what looks like a bulb or valve of some kind. Maybe a valve from an older amp?

The mono conversion is spot on

Cheers,
Rob

Re: Still life or no?

Nice image and conversion, but like Rob, I struggle to get the connection to your musical life. Maybe I should get out more.

I spotted the valve, the old radio (?) and I like the reflections.

Being an anorak, I see the combination spanners (ring at one end, open at the other, Rob ) does this make you a musical nut?

I like that, "musical nut", yea. That's my old 60 gig ipod (still crank'n) next to an old vacuum resister for radio, tv and what ever. The wrenchs are my vision of bending home made music I play some what and it sounds like I used a wrench, but it's ok. Anyway, I am glad to hear from you two about still life is ok to blend. The wife and I talked about a subject and lighting for moods being the correct and accepted way of it all.Thank you both for your colorful comments ya know, half the music of 30 gig's is British
