Re: Storm Brewing
Sky is perfect, but land has been over processed in terms of colour saturation / manipulation. Is this a by product of you processing the sky ? If so process the sky on a duplicate layer, then mask outthe land back to original

Re: Storm Brewing
hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm had to look at this one for a while....it is definately one that grows on you..... although i agree with what dave said about over processing.... i think that it works in this. it is a superb contrast to the sky, and for some reason keeps the eye in the picture.

Re: Storm Brewing
Well I've tried several edits on this one now....even mono
and still not 100% happy with any So I think it is a good excuse to go back and re-shoot. ![]() Looking back at the edit posted here, I got to admit it looks terrible ![]() |

Sounds so much better coming from you! LOL! Personally, think it's the light that comes out fundementally wrong and guess that has been arrived at through the overprocessing. Think there's still a good image struggling to get out, tho' a reshoot under more sympathetic lighting might be the solution! |

Re: Storm Brewing
Trouble is I don't always notice how bad until I have posted but admit the one above does stand out like a sore thumb Even the one in the Gallery didn't look too bad on my monitor but after viewing it on another monitor it again looked poor Forecast for tomorrow is for heavy showers so it could be a good day to return and get up in those hills ![]() |
