Street
As some of you know there is a competition a few of us enter. This time the theme is "Street", a god aweful theme picked by some silly person
Anyways, as usual I am having trouble deciding which shot to enter. |

My current favourite. It literally says "street" but doesn't really say "street".

The first for me, as in the context of the competition title it should do very well. It's got great texture and contrast and I really like the silhouette and shadow of the walker. I like the steps although I'm sure some folk would say they're a distraction. I'm not really sure any of the others do it as most of them seem more like alleys.

I like the first one, it's been done before, but it's well executed and suits the theme I would think. I like the range of tones in the one with the steps, but it has to be the feet shot for me. I think you had actually 'clicked' with the bird in the boots!

I know what you mean. Its on the street, but does it say street? Does a road say road or street? Ahhh, I'm such a fool

I like the first one, where is the top view of the street.
Where can I found the info of that "street" competition? |

I prefer the next to last one, the orange light coming through the window and the legs passing by on the street. This picture provokes so much thought about what goes on under and around the street, how it interacts and yet people can pass by oblivious. This would be my definite choice as it is so strong.

I also thought that was an excellent one for basically the same reason. Quote:

I think my heads spun around far too much with this street theme that I'll be glad to go out and find some nice architecture to shoot ![]() |
