sunset
I took this shot today, it has been tweaked a little using Nikon Capture, just altered the neutral point blue slider slightly. Apart from that is as shot.

Re: sunset
Wow - what a photo to use as your first one to post!
The colours are awsome and the image pushes all of the right buttons. Great shot, let's see some more! |

Re: sunset
It's often the way that a great shot is stumbled upon rather than being planned out. Well done.

Re: sunset
Very pretty. Yes, that is often the way a good photo happens.
That is why I just purchased a nifty walking around camera. Panasonic Lumix lx2. 10 mpix, fully manual if desired, shoots in raw, image stabilizer and fits in my pant pocket. Only downside so far is no viewfinder. Have to shoot using LCD monitor, which I find a bit difficult right now. OK, off topic. Sunsets are a dime a dozen, and to create a really good one is a joy. So, be joyous, and lets see more! skip |

Re: sunset
Yup, nice capture. It's a tad soft but nothing too serious because the richness of the colours compensate. Good work.

Re: sunset
Thanks for all your comments, I must admit I was very happy with the shot.
I have often thought about doing that, its a good idea and a very nice "walking around" camera! Yeah it is a tad soft, I've tried sharpening it, but it doesn't effect the sky really, I kind of like the dreamy quality though. |
