Very nice shots mate, the focus on the first is bang on!
I also note that you have managed to catch the shifty one in the bunch on the second shot .... experienced hunch ? :lol: |

With the first one I was trying to capture the moment he pulled his head out of the water. To damn quick though. |

Can't add much, except to echo everyone else by saying that first pic is A1, and the timing is perfect IMO with the water running off the beak.

I'll also echo what everyone else has said.
One slight nit though, the first image could have done with a bit of fill in flash. This would bring out the feather detail add a catchlight to the birds eye. |
