Re: Tewkesbury
As ever a lovely polished conversion
I might have cropped out the right hand side.........so as not to include the barge etc as I find my eyes settle on the building and over hanging trees Just my opinion of course ![]() |

Re: Tewkesbury
About a third of the shot is trees which are not very interesting - I think I would have moved

Re: Tewkesbury
I like this - nice reflections + I like the bridge - but here's what I'd have done different:
Not clipped the top of the willow tree. Added a subtle vignette. Sawn a foot or so off the end of the 3rd jetty. Sat down for a fag-break + used one of the handy ashtrays on the end of a jetty. Then hopped on the barge for a saunter down the river to go find a better location. Just kidding with the last 3 ![]() |

Treid this with shot as it stood & possibly due to clipped tree it didn't work too well. Maybe after I re-shoot with 10-20mm it will be OK |

Re: Tewkesbury
really nice image but it screams for more hight to the picture for me maybe try a shot portrait style instead of landscape. It seems to be a combination of the trees and buildings they look like they impose on the image too much but adding a bit of height would bring everything together. good feel to the image though

Re: Tewkesbury
I wanted to get lower in the shot, but the jetty area was locked .... I was thinking of jumping over the wall, but then realised how much moneys worth of camera gear I was putting at risk
