Just a little something I've been playing with today.



Not at all sure of what colour to use for the background. I want something that's quite visually assualting but still maintains a balance at the same time. The overall idea is to convey boots that look good (yeah I know ) but work for a living too.

Well the only thing I can say is 'not that colour'!

Maybe have a look on a colour wheel to see what colour would complement the colours in the boot and flower.

Hmmm, you see that's kinda the strong reaction I'd like to get. I've looked at hundreds of variations this afternoon and while I "like" the look of complimentary colours they lack the visual reaction of something truley horrible.

So from that point of view you've done well, altho personally it's not my cup of tea.

nor mine for what's it worth but quite often I have to shoot stuff I don't realy like.

as it turns out with this one, the nasty opposing colour idea has been ditched for something that more resembles a pleasing image. I'll stick up the finished version when it's shot. I just need to work out whether I should go on a quick flower arranging course or get someone more talented to do that bit.

Shorten the stalks to dump some of the green and change the colour mix/quantities ... perhaps a few less ?

Interesting composition - but not my cot !
