Time to share some sunsets.
Hello there, well I'm pretty new to this forum so I just want to share some sunsets taken in Valle de Bravo Lake in México. All of them taken this week, I went there in vacation.
The first one, taken from the other side of the Jacuzzi: ![]() A panoramic view: ![]() The last one, and best: ![]() Hope you enjoy, and any kind of comments are welcome. ![]() |

very nice indeed, #2 being the my favourite, the fence/railing in #1 is distracting though

No.2 for me also, I'd love to see large version of that one.

I'm with you guys, no.2 my fave too. Only thing i'd say is maybe see what it looks like with the tops of the trees toward the bottom left of the image removed. Good looking shots though!

I like #3 as it looks very real . I'd suggest cropping it though to take out the clouds which are not being lit up by the sun.

Thanks for your comments, let me have a free time here in the office, and I will crop and remove those trees and see what happen.
What is the size limit I can post here, so I can see if I can put a larger image of the panoramic view. |

I like the panorama effect of no 2 but no 3 has it for me due to the fire colour in the sky - brilliant!

Sorry to be different, but I like 1 & 2.
1 is simple and the reflection of the railings is great. 2 because of the swirling clouds. Just my thoughts and great shots nevertheless. Ken Iv'e just had another look and 2 is stunning but still like 1. |

No1 just doesn't look right to me, it seems like the railings are vying for your attention as much as the rest.
No2 I like, but also agree that the "odd" bits of trees at the lower left spoil it as little. No3 is definitely my fave image, love that sky. Sunsets are my fave image of choice, I just love that every one is different and the colours can be amazing. |

Thanks all for your comments.
I agree with some, the 3 is the one I like the most, in number one, the railings are distracting, but I like the way it were reflecting on the water, but the sunset goes to a second level in importance there. The 2, what I like its the movement it seems to be on the clouds. |

I have to agree with the others about picture one, The railings definitely do distract from the scene although I can see why you took the shot. Sometimes trying to capture on digital or film what the eyes see is not as easy as we might think and this shot is a example of this issue. If you had altered your position to remove the railing you would have lost the reflection in the water, you couldn’t win.
The second shot is my favourite of the three you have posted here. The silhouetted mountains against the sunset are nicely balanced by the trees in the foreground. This picture has great colours. I am going to be a little controversial with my comments on the third picture. While there is no doubt that the sky and sunset are excellent, I feel the picture as a whole is missing a focus point. If you had one silhouetted tree or a boat on the lake it would have drawn the eyes instead of them floating around the picture looking at the different elements and not quite allowing me to enjoy the picture as a whole. |

WELL, now I have the link.
CLICK HERE TO SEE THE PANORAMICS And when you go there, click the VIEW ORIGINAL SIZE at the bottom of the picture, it will open in a new window, the LAAAAARGE FILE. I have seen it and when you see the very large its not that impressive, it has a lot of errors, and may be a little more sharp in some parts will be great, but It works. Take a look. |
