Speaking as a member the image is technically good but subject-wise I think it sleazy and the "nude bits" do not contribute to the picture.

This shot leaves me a bit cold vs your other work Viages. The light is stark & for me I like a partial nude to look sensual .. this doesn't hit that mark ....for me anyway Not to say someone else doesn't like it though.

reding other peoples comments about it looking sleazy and itnot looking sensual, the thing is, many people judge images on their taste, which is fine, but, it depends in which context the image was taken, and where the intended destination is. if your intension was for it to have a sleazy look, then the photograph is very successful, in some peoples opinions, maybe we should write a little about what the image is about in the post, im sure some people do, but what i can see of the image, technically good, but without knowing where you wanted to go with it i cant comment

I've updated 1st post to be full size image. When an image is placed in a private gallery a Password is applied. This doesn't stop members sharing shot in forum though.

Best compromise we could find for Nudes etc.

As to the purpose of the shot, It was taken at a group shoot, so seeing what other photographers had done to pose the model I decided to ask her to stand on the bottom step of a step ladder, set the shot up and another photographer who had already worked with Sophie started to take a few shot.

I lost my patience and any thought of what I was intending to do , I shot off a few frames and went outside to cool down.

This is the only shot any good, not my best work I admit.

I did tell the photographer what I thought of him!

Every photograph tells a story but not this one.

Must admit in multi togs shoots I often see a pose that is setup by another tog that I wouldn't have thought of. I do have the decency though to let them finishing shooting 1st though before I poach a few frames

As with a lot of shots we see on here, a brief outline of the circumstances or intentions would go some way to generate comments that are more pertinent.

Before the explanation, I thought the exposure etc was OK, but the composition and pose left something to be desired, but now it falls into place more, i can see that maybe in the circumstances the model is being used to send a message to the other 'tog.
