white cockatoo
![]() had ago to sharpen just a whisker, however seem to have noise as result also keeping in mind had wrong metering set on camera setting however iso 200 shutter speed 1/125 and 9.5 on aperture like constructive coments and opinion on white of bird ,as some say its hard shooting on white subject. cheers ![]() |

Looks pretty good tho' maybe a little lacking in colour. The exposure was good - difficult with white. Not so much because it needed it, more to show a different view:

thanks mark .definately can notice the difference, i had id brightened then changed my mind as thought it was over done and not as realistic ,saying that i lke it nowe

You really have to think about shots like this. It would probably have been better to put the cam on aperture priority, set at somewhere between 3 and 5 and then spot metered or center weighted on the bird. That way the detail of the feathers might have been more apparent, and the bg darker and blurred, putting emphasis on the bird.
skip oh, and my bad (as the kids say) - you have to think on all shots! |
