Looking through some photos of our holiday to Cornwall, I found this one. I wanted to convey the bright blue day and the expanse of beach...

I like it Matt + couldn't honestly suggest anything to improve this at all. I think it expresses exactly what you intended. I think the compo, colours, exposure + interest are all there. Love the sky! The little pool adds a lot to the image + without it the pic wouldn't be the same.

Actually, I know this spot - spent a short hol in a caravan park nearby last year. I found the very long walk across the beach to the sea a bit off-putting. A few shots of this very beach in my gallery

Yup can't fault that much at all. The exposure is good and the diagonal board as a lead in works well. If anything it is just the board goes a tad too far across the picture so it leads the eye over to the left rather than into the centre of the surf where the surfers are. If it was just a slightly less angle it would be a surf board pointing at surfers and tying the whole picture together.

But that is just a minor point, it's a very well thought out shot and lovely contrast of yellow and blue so very well done
