Re: Wonder in his eyes
This is a very interesting and different image! I have been back to it a couple of times before posting and I really like it.
I like the weird colour and the profile view is great, that spoon and pensive expression work really well. Love the BG too! Nice one Boofers! More info on how you shot this would be good. |

Re: Wonder in his eyes
could be a little bit more sharp - but this time Boofers i have to say that your IR looks great, very atmospheric (so leave wildlife alone
- just joking). very good composition. it's a lovely photo |

Re: Wonder in his eyes
"Marcin", you should see peacocks,,,pure black,,fantastic looking birds in IR. Only have crummie pics. "Les". I sat on the floor with two grandkids as they played at a little table. 3 1/2 and 1 year olds. F 1.8 at 1/30 iso100 Aperture prioity..white balance off the window light with an expodisc. I only have 3 lenses that I know of that give good pictures without a hot spot right in the middle. 50mm f1.8, 17-40mm L, and 100-400mm IS L. Have two others I haven't tried out yet.
I know it is a little soft, sometimes I go for a smaller aperture but they were not sitting still. It dosen't look bad as a mono, I wanted to get feed back on skin color, eyes are darker then normal. My wife said the same thing,,,"pensive" look. Thanks for commenting, Boofers |

Re: Wonder in his eyes
Lovely shot, just not sure about the "white" of the eye - think I would have to do something about that in photoshop !

Re: Wonder in his eyes
That's one of my boy's,,,thanks for the comments..I took PeteT's advice and whitened the eyes in a version I put in the galleries after I warmed it up a little. I had some trouble with the patch tool after cloneing out some distractions in the right side, it must be something with IR
