GIMP help frustrated!
When i have my images open in the GIMP it states the file size but then when i save to XCF it says they are about 1/2 of that. now i thought XCF was uncompressed and I have to have images of 48MB plus for Alamy
When i go to upload images to Alamy it states its the wrong size Also when i try to make my images bigger in the GIMP it wont let me saying I am trying to make an image over 64 MB! |

Re: GIMP help frustrated!
There are 2 figures for Alamy. Above 48MB for image when you look at it in PS for example (eg. uincompressed), but when you save it to JPEG (which compresses MB size of image) it must be below 20MB.
When I did my Mono shots , I upsized them to just over 48MB in PS, then when I saved them in JPEG at setting of 12, they averaged around 6MB.....so met Alamy's requirements |

Hmm well when i upload to Alamy it refuses saying the uncompressed size is wrong, however in the gimp I try to make them bigger and it says it is at maximum size of 64 MB
GIMP has a max of 10 JPG setting i think Im really lost now lol |

Re: GIMP help frustrated!
lol well I did what you originally suggested just when it said the pic would be too big, I ignored it and overrode it but it was a bit of guess work as files at a size of 5kb conpressed were coming up as over 100 in the GIMP so will see, I am wondering though if they will want all images that size, as they go off my screen , cant wait to get my PC fixed lol
