Well....not for a long while yet.
The code is at present in a state where only i can understand it.
It handles the RGB channels individually, and there are colour issues when the final 3 images are recombined. You can see a purple tinge on the grass that isn't supposed to be there. Have to work on it more.

Re: HDR Challenge - You up for it ? ( Photomatix, LucasArt, CS2 methods)

Heres my take:

Photomatix Pro:

Strength ----- 73
Color Saturation ----- 80
Light Smoothing -----() 2nd
Tone :
White Point ----- 0.304%
Black Point ----- 0.031%
Gamma ----- 1.23
S/H :
Highlights Smoothing ----- 0
Shadow Smoothing ----- 30
Shadow Clipping ----- 10

I used the Render Lighting Effect with CS3 to take care of the burnt Highlights in the sky,
(used the DEFAULT setting just made the circle wider so I would only render the effect in the sky).

At the end I used Lucis Pro, this is where I had a hard time because I'm learning how to use it, it only has two sliders and it's not as simple as it looks, LucisArt is much easier to use but it's only presets made with LucisPro.

I think its a little saturated but it makes it look very dramatic IMO.

I don't know if doing all that disqualifies me but here it is anyway.

I'm not sure what settings everyone wants. I apologize for not including them. I just don't know what they are. I just take the pictures and make them look the way they do. I would however be happy to answer any questions that any one has about my pic.

Re: HDR Challenge - You up for it ? ( Photomatix, LucasArt, CS2 methods)

Thanks. I got into HDR about a month ago and I love it. I have been HDR-ing every one of my pictures that I can. I just happened to come across this thread and though that I would join.

Oh, and thanks for welcoming my to the site.

Nice variations there Mateo

If you are having success with your pictures, let us have a look too. Marcin started a http://www.pixalo.com/community/phot...ion-22039.html thread in the Sharing Forum as it is his passion.

You could start an HDR one to draw other people in and perhaps raise everyone's game.

Here is my fourth and final variation of the pic. I saw some warmer ones out there and just thought I'd make one too. So here it is.

I think that your take is the best. I wish I could use LucasArt but I can't get it to work. I am using CS3 on a MacBook and it won't even recognize the plugin.

Thanks for the support Mateo.

and as for your mac not reading the plug-in maybe it's because your installing a Pc version and not a Mac version.
here's the Mac version so you can try it
