How to get rid of CA from shot ?

It was kindly pointed out I have some CA on my shot here

How can I get rid of it from the shot in PS ? Feel free to edit final shot if it helps.

Re: How to get rid of CA from shot ?

what I do is: -

1) add a new adjustment layer - hue/saturation
2) select the colour from the dropdown of the ca (usually blue or magenta)
3) I then use the dropper can click on an area in the image to select the exact shade of blue to remove
4) Slide the saturation slider to the left till u get to around -85

Then ok that lot.

Next I then fill the adjustment layer mask with black. That'll then remove the work u just did.
I then paint over the ca part with a fine white brush until the ca dissapears.

It's a bit of a jiggery pokery but usually works nicely.




notice the sky is slightly less blue... that's coz I didn't do the fill bit, just left the original layer as described in steps 1 - 4

Thanks OrangePeel, that looks great.

After reading some more I have found out it is easy to remove if shot in RAW, by using the options under "Lens" in Camera RAW. Another reason to shoot RAW I think
