[Pearlescent]

Hi

I am desperate to find a way to turn photographs (especially of people) into the etherial looking Infrared photography like the photo below but only using Photoshop CS2.

I know this is a photography forum but I thought someone may just be able to help in the manipulation area.

The effect I'm after is this:



I have tried a number of plug-ins and tutorials but simply cannot re-create this look and was wondering if there was more to the way this is done than meets the eye.

I only have a simple digital point and shoot camera and would really like to be able to produce photos with Photoshop like the one above as I have loved that look for a very long time and have spent probably an equal time trying to find out how to achieve it.

That's great, just the look I was after and I can carry on altering bits to my hearts content

A tutorial would be good also as I like to get to grips with the ins and outs!
