Need help with IR processing

I'm hoping one of you IR processing gurus can help me out a bit. I just picked up an IR filter for the 17-40 and it seems to be okay but I can't get the greens to come out as white as they should be. I'm thinking it's possibly the choice of shot initially as there was deep shadow as you can see in the normal shot below.

I didn't do a custom WB and these are both straight from the camera, just resized. Really appreciate the help and tips on what you did if you can get it to come out right. I tried Brads IR action as well and it just came out bad

Thanks in advance
