New Nikon Software

Hello all!

I've seen in the news that Nikon are releasing a new version of their "Capture" software - Capture NX, and also Nikon View "pro".

A short while ago I took the plunge into shooting RAW. I tried Rawshooter Essentials, but settled on what I assume is the RAW conversion feature of "Nikon View". (I say this because I have Nikon View installed, and when I launch a .nef file it ends up in a Nikon application, and I don't have Nikon Capture!)

Has anyone seen these applications yet? I have looked on Warehouse Express and they aren't available for about a month. I'm considering buying Capture NX, but am not sure what advantages I'd gain for my £100+ !

ive used nikon capture and got noticably better results than adobe camera raw, i also found it a bit more comprehensive than rawshooter, but i cant decide whether it's worth the money either.

...I had a trial version of Nikon Capture 4, but it always used to crash the PC whenever I ran it

I might go for the Capture NX when it's released.
