Re: Which Photo Editing software do you use?

Used Raw Shooter Pro last year and now Lightroom 1.2.

LR is great for my needs and it was a free upgrade as a RSP user.

I have to use Picasa for IPTCing sports stuff but am not a fan....

Hello Pixalites!
Back from the long beyond. I will be around more times than not, now.
As to your polling of editing software, I use PSCS, PSCS2 & PSCS3. I've taken to learning some of the areas in these monentous programs from some pretty interesting DVD teaching programs.
Glad to be back

Re: Which Photo Editing software do you use?

I use elements 5 (badly lol) just about managing the basics.
Also use picasa 2, good free prog for basics IMO.

Ohh,nearly forgot, lol just got capture NX free with my new camera, but it is still a mystery to me.

Re: Which Photo Editing software do you use?

I use PS7, some times PSP; but for RAW I use Helicon Filter. It's a free download and user friendly.
I also have PS2 but I find it takes too long to load so I don't bother.
Picasa2 is very useful and supports most RAW files but only for downloading...Kenny
PS I also have Lightroom, don't like it!.

If it's me your asking I'm a Photoshop CS3 man, with most of the work normally done in Lightroom beforehand.

Re: Which Photo Editing software do you use?

I use Lightroom, using Lightroom 2 Beta until I can purchase it BUT, I was given software to try out it's called SILKYPIX Developer Studio 3.0 and the little time I've used it since yesterday, it does a very good job and the interface is easy to understand. (if interested I will update on this when I use it more)

Re: Which Photo Editing software do you use?

I recently started using Gimp. The interface is very different from Photoshop, which I think I still prefer. If I had to buy a new version of Photoshop for some reason, I would switch to Gimp instead. Its just a matter of the price, I can get almost the same functionality for free.
