Re: 2006/7 Calendar - Pixalo Members Mugshots

Hi Jag. Bit of trial and error here. I used Photoshop in the following manner:

Each stage was done on a new layer so any foul-ups could be easily dumped.

1 Levels ajustment.
2 Curves to increase contrast - red, blue and green channels done individually to see what gave the best result.
3 Selected you and tried to improve levels (don't think this worked) and contrast with curves using RGB channel.
4 Selected you and dodged highlights at 3% until it looked better.
5 Sharpened with USM at 1pixel and about 200%.
6 De-select and tidied up edges with clone tool, and also cloned some of the light dots on you too.
7 Ran the image through Noiseware (free download in our downloads section).
8 Flatten image.

Edit: Reverse steps 7 & 8

Decided against trying to remove green cast as it is 'normal' to see it in these conditions.

Re: PIMP this if you can

Had to try this again after seeing the red Mark brought out, it was real hard for me to even get the red I did, kind of a neat picture to work on in terms of getting the colors correct. I still opened it in camera raw, levels and sharpened.
