Really silly Rawshooter question.
I've just started shooting in raw and using Rawshooter to process the images.
Just one really silly, but fundamental, question. How the heck do I get Rawshooter to pick up the images from the camera? On my home PC at the weekend I was able to go into My Computer, then select the camera and transfer the pictures but my work PC won't let me do that. It just doesn't acknowledge the raw images at all. I can see the D70 folder in Rawshooter but it won't open to show any images when I click on it. ![]() Help please! |

Re: Really silly Rawshooter question.
Have you tried using Windows Explorer to copy the files from the camera to a new folder on your HD, and then browsing the folder with RS?
Also, are you using the same version of RS? Unfortunately it's obsolete now and earlier versions don't support the D70. |

Re: Really silly Rawshooter question.
It's been so long since I even looked at RS.
How about import? With Lightroom you can get images either from a card when you plug it in - LR can be set to open when card is inserted - or by importing from your HDD. I've not got RS installed anymore. I think some of the other members who use it regularly will be able to advise. |

Re: Really silly Rawshooter question.
Thanks guys. It seems to have sorted itself out now - amazing what a good kick to the computer can do - and it showed the images in the camera folder and I was able to transfer them over to my hard drive.

Re: Really silly Rawshooter question.
TBH I wouldn't get too deeply into Rawshooter. It was excellent but was killed by Adobe when they bought Pixmantec (not that I bear grudges
) and newer cameras are not supported. So at some point you'll need another converter when you get your D3. ![]() |
