Tornado opinions?

hi, i was messing about with some aircraft shots. i have posted both the origonal shot and the 'processed' shot. the idea was to get a warmer feel to the photo compared to the origonal shot.

i would like to know what people thought about it and any other ideas or changes they would make! feel free to edit the images and post them to help me out or criticise them as much as you want!!

Cheers,
Steve

Re: Tornado opinions?

Nice shot, Steve. I'm multi-tasking at the moment and diving into Pixalo every now and then, so may not get a chance to pimp. If i do, I think the plane will be on the bottom LH third.

I've never really though of combat aircraft being warm, though.

Re: Tornado opinions?

Hi Steve, I've picked up on Graham's point about composition but given it a slightly different tint. By the way you've something on your lens or a wacking great dust bunny on your sensor - in the triangle between the tail plane and the left wing.

cheers stephen, i like that, it looks well in the bottom LH 'corner'. i had put the plane more to the top because i was going to use it as a desktop background but that would work just as well! cant believe i missed that 'speckle' of dust

Re: Tornado opinions?

lol yea the Sensor was cleaned straight after that airshow, the dust only appeared half way through the shots so must have happened during a lens change on the day! ohh well!

i like that idea Dave...tidy

P-E - how do you get the sky/background like that?! is it a gradient tool or what do you use?!

thanks for feedback guys!

Steve
