Re: What Panorama software do yous use?

Many people use Autopano Pro...

AutoPano Pro - Panorama stitching software - Panoramic photo software - image stitching

There is also a panorama plugin for The GIMP, called Pandora...

Pandora: a GIMP Plugin for Making Panoramas

Re: What Panorama software do yous use?

You first need Gimp. Assuming that you want the Windows version, just follow the link
"http://downloads.sourceforge.net/gimp-win/gimp-2.4.6-i686-setup.exe"
Then follow the instructions about right clicking "download" and saving the file into your Gimp folder (made whilst installing Gimp).

If you use Linux, it is best to use apt-get. Ask if you need instructions.

Re: What Panorama software do yous use?

PS CS3 is a huge improvement on previous Adobe stitching. Does well for me.

Re: What Panorama software do yous use?

Yep, if you right-click the download link and Save Link As, that works. In Ubuntu, Pandora is in the repos so you just tick the box in Synaptic and it installs automatically.

I use PTGUI for my panos. I find it excellent and can highly recommend it.

Re: What Panorama software do yous use?

I used to use PanoFactory but took steve's advice and switched to PTGui. Never looked back.

PTGui is also particularly good with bracketed pano's

Re: What Panorama software do yous use?

Here's another one which I've not tried but looks interesting -

hugin - Panorama photo stitcher

Download from Downloads This week in panospace for Windows/Mac

Hugin is in the repos for Ubuntu Hardy, so I may give it a try.

Re: What Panorama software do yous use?

I use Serif's Panoramaplus2. I've tried a few and this is the best for me.
