Morning guys

finally got some time to have a play with the d80, heres the result..if there was ever a thought going through the cats mind it's: "When I rule the world i wont be doing this!!"



anyways, just wanted to share the pic with you guys...comments well received, good or bad...anything that makes pics better

yeaahhh, i noticed that the pic seems dark on my CRT screen at work, but perfect on my LCD one at home...

I'd better be careful how I respond to the future ruler of the world(!) but agree with Marcin that it could do with being a little lighter and possibly an orangey cast (maybe adjust the Levels?) but it's a good pose with good detail

It looks light enough on my screen but this one does always feel a bit brighter than it should be (despite being calibrated).

Nice sharp detail and good depth of field. Only real criticism would be the background; those two light coloured squares grab attention. You could use Photoshop (or equivalent) to clone them out or otherwise remove them. That plus maybe lighten the picture a little and I think you have a good result.

agreed, more i look at it, the more i see the white squares...will cloan them out on lunch...even though i use photoshop all day every day, work wont take kindly to me doing personal stuff when i should be 'being creative' for them

We have had her 2 years now, and shes only just starting to trust ppl. she was a rescue cat that had been kept in a cage and only let out once a day, now she rules the house

with regard to the white balance, i had it set to sunny day as it was scorchio yesterday with 0 compensation on + or - but i did have the exposure set to -.03 or -.07 ( cant remember TBH) as i dont have a poloriser at the mo...

Seems dark at work as well. Perhaps it is a West Yorkshire thing
