I'm sure that one of the balls in the other pics could be added to this one to round it off.

Re: 20/20 Cricket

A good set, mixed bag with some excellent ones, a couple less so. The second one is very good as is number 4. The last couple are good too and that bowled shot is superb as far as you the photographer are concerned. Just a shame it had to have that pink blob in the background which distracts, nothing you cold do about it, just the way it goes.

Overall, an excellent set of pics of our national game.
Cheers,
Rob

Re: 20/20 Cricket

It has just occured to me that our American friends (Skip!) won't have a clue how to play this game so here is a quick explanation for you....

You have two teams of eleven players.
One team is in, the other team is out.
Two members of the out team come in and have to be got out by the team that is in.
When one member of the out team has come in and been got out by the team that is in, he goes out and another member of the out team comes in.
When all of the out team have come in and been got out by the team that is in, the team that was in goes out and team that was out comes in.
The repeat all of the above.
When they have finished, the team with the highest score wins....

Unless after 5 days of trying, they have not got to the end in which case we call it a draw :o)

Hope that has made it all clear for you.
Cheers,
Rob

Re: 20/20 Cricket

numbers 2,8 and 9 are very good man!

i got the camera to a match last weekend. I knew beforehand that 200mm lense is gonna be too small for it but i gave it a shot anyway!

i must post up one or 2 shots soon. A 1.4x extender is due!!

nichpr - would u like me to do a tutorial on the wonderful game?!
