Re: 3 in 1

They work well together - nicely taken images. It's just the border around each with which I have problems (essentially a soft, gentle image and you've a rough, spikey surround! )

I like it too. Border is a bit tight on the LHS of the LH image, but very nice

The boarder at the top of the middle one looks like it's been cropped to close...

Very nice

Re: 3 in 1

I like it, the statues are a good subject to choose. I think it might look compositionally better though (IMHO of course ) if you were to swop around the 2nd & 3rd pics , then you'd have the 2 either side looking inwards & and the middle one looking forward/down.

I hope you don't mind but I've posted a quick edit of what I mean.

Re: 3 in 1

This is nice Fi! Mike beat me to the shuffle suggestion - also because the centre one is standing and the other two are seated - just balances a little better imvho

Re: 3 in 1

thanx guys,, the reason i put the sitting one in the middle is that the other two have nearly completely black backgrounds and i thought this looked better with the black on either side of the other one........

no prob Mike with playing! lol

Re: 3 in 1

Ahhhh eye of the beholder . . . I think the borders are nice, they look like ivy to me which would "go with" garden statues. I did notice that the border on the right hand image appears to be chopped off a bit making it look like a straight edge.

Nice postcard look, Fi.

Edit: after looking again I realized that it is the center image on Fi's original that has a straight edge on top and the right hand image on Mike's tweak.

Re: 3 in 1

Your pictures look good, a little more feather on the edges might look better,,just a suggestion, have you tried to place these on a low opacity background picture,,maybe some woods or so, it can provide interest instead of white if your concerned. I like and have used B+W low opacity backgrounds for multiple color pictures and I think it looks pretty good just to be creative.
