Re: Air Tattoo - Fairford 2006 Part II
I like the last shot, thats an unusual angle that I have not seen shot before
![]() the first shot looks like an line up...little leading, getting bigger behind and finally the big daddy at the back

Re: Air Tattoo - Fairford 2006 Part II
really nice shots there! i didnt get a chance to get to fairford but hopefully will be for leuchars later!
btw, do you use the gradient tool to darken the sky like that? if so, how do you get it to curve smoothly ? lol thats probably a stupid question!

Re: Air Tattoo - Fairford 2006 Part II
Tx Steve400. I use the gradient tool twice & both by the layer adjustment methods. I first add a horizontal gradient followed by a radiant gradient & stretch the circle out to distance required. I also open gradient & pull top right slider in left to the middle to reduce grad slightly.
Most important thing is then playing with opacity of each layer to get effect you are after. Quite often I'm down to less than 50% Very simple but very effective in my eyes

Re: Air Tattoo - Fairford 2006 Part II
Well it was my first event Steve400, so it looked good to me. Only problem is they put the Red arrows on before other aerobatic teams, which made the rest look crap bascially. Boy those Arrow guys are good.
The powerful fighter jets always impress & the Mig pilot was an absolute nutter with the way he flew his plane
