Re: All 3?
Being picky, one of them is 140. I like the general look of the image, but if you are looking for perfection, how about three images of the board, in sequence, the first with one dart in the treble 20, the second with two darts in the treble 20, and the third, you're probably in front of me here, with three in the treble 20 - 180!!

Re: All 3?
Thanx Graham , but one of them is not 140. the dart is in motion and not in the board. must be the angle but i thought it was pretty obvious that the closest dart was blurred............ good idea tho didint think about doing it that way

Re: All 3?
Aaahhh, yes. I see it now
Not obvious to the quick glance that it was the closest dart, though. Maybe a bit more motion blur? |

Re: All 3?
Fiona, I really like the idea nad I think the 3 images work. I have to admit I didn't realise the third dart was in motion at first glance either, I think you could be more aware of the motion blur if you could see the tail of the dart?? I also wonder if the saturation of the left hand image is a little less than the other two???
That said, I really like the idea and I think the 3 images work really well together Matt |

Re: All 3?
Fiona, I've been looking at this one (or rather, set of three), trying to make it work for me but, to use someone else's expression, it doesn't float my boat. Three pic's in one is too busy, my eyes are darting (
) from one pic to another without being able to settle anywhere.I think for the darts idea to work in the theme of 'perfection' you have to have everything in the pic pin-sharp . And you have to be able to see three complete darts, not pieces of dart. And you have to have all three darts visible (in one of the pic's here, one of the darts is hiding behind another one). And all three darts have to be in a perfect straight line with each other. Sound good so far? Then read on for my suggestion (yes, I do have one )I like the angle of view you used in the largest of these three, and think you should use that exact same viewpoint, but increase the view to show all 3 complete darts, all in full focus + in a straight line, with the no. 20 visible as well. Brighten it up a bit + saturate the colours more, as these 3 look a bit flat. What d'you think?

Re: All 3?
i think the conception of a perfect score is fine,Dabs suggestion sounds good. But i think you need to do something about the imperfections of the dart board, the way the colours match up with the wires Is way out.Is it possible to correct this? I know this sounds picky but i think you have a great idea going here, which needs everything about the shot to con form to the perfection theme.
