Re: Anderton Boat Lift
lot's of details, nice composition, but strange colours - B&W would be better or sepia - this is somwhere between

Re: Anderton Boat Lift
I like the effect - looks almost like an engraving with gold toning.

Re: Anderton Boat Lift
I have looked at this for quite a while - a good sign. I am not sure if I like the colouring or not.
I keep changing my mind. I am not a fan of most black and white but this could work well. I am just wondering what the colour original looked like. It would be interesting to see if you care to post it.

Re: Anderton Boat Lift
I like it alot, except for the sky which is not a sky at all? Like the others I can't work out what colour it is. Effective though

Re: Anderton Boat Lift
Thanks for the feedback guys.
At the end of the day dose it really matter what the colour is?? ![]() ![]() The origianal was taken on a very flat, boring, grey day. This is a sepia tinted BW with a twist. |

Re: Anderton Boat Lift
Doesn't matter to me. As I said earlier I like it as it is.

Re: Anderton Boat Lift
Whatever colour it is, I think it's very effective. It did take a me a while to make up my mind though, but the more I looked the more I liked it.

Re: Anderton Boat Lift
Works for me (OK, would prefer something in the sky or maybe less of it!). Also a destination that's been on my list for quite some time
