Thanks. I do like signs actually. I think I'm gonna experiment a little more though.

All my photos look better on deviantArt. Are you a member?

dont know why your photos would look better there?!

Not a member no, i prefer smaller forums, i feel i learn more from here than i would from a place like DeviantArt, though i know a lot of people who are members. I post on lots of forums, and this gives the best feedback, it may take a couple of days to get the replies, but they are generally better!

I'm not sure why, I think it's teh layout or colouring, not sure.

I don't know many forums for posting my photos. I feel that sometimes they're too quiet, but as long as they work for you.

I have to say as a relative newbie, this forum is great. I'd be verey nervous about posting my shots on a big forum cos they'd just be swamped with decent pics!

The thing i like about this forum, is it IS swamped with decent pics, but the guys that take them dont have attitudes about them ! and are incredibly helpful with helping us all improve the little skills we have !

(can i have my money now??? ) 8)

It's nice that you should say that mate because that's exactly the atmosphere we're out to create here.

It's true though mate, i wouldnt be here otherwise ! I am keen to learn and improve, and i dont believe you would get the level of support or advice on a larger forum that we get here ! There would be too many shots for the more knowledgeable people to comment on effectively, and its good to see the more experienced and knowledgeable people asking advice as well, as we all have a different taste in what is good or bad in photographs, and sometimes a picture is just "good" because it is ! not for any technical reason, it just "feels" right ! (sorry about the """""" but trying to emphasize a point) lol !

Plus you only have to look at the level of entries in the competition to see there are some flipping good photographers here ! (spot the naff one, its mine) lol just call me Ian 'Norway' Cook
