Approaching storm

Grabbed this recently, yes we do have bad weather here too!

Its not IR but a BW conversion from colour. It was shot with a 'snaps' camera, the Fuji S602. I have found with this camera that on certain subjects/lighting it tends to give a weird 'soft-focus' glow to things. I think that is what is helping to make this seem like an IR image (as well as the tonal range from the conversion).

I'm enjoying this shot tho' there is a bit of grain in the BG which I prefer without (so getting the contrast of smooth cloud layer with the leafy detail)

Ahh, a trusty old 602! Know that soft focus well!
