Do you splash the camera much with these experiments?
And... do you just let the flash fire on the droplets type shots or do you set it on manual? Thought I read somewhere you get a shorter duration on low power. When I played with bursting tomatoes some time back I had a glass sheet between target and camera. Must have another go this summer when the Mrs grows too many toms again. Might be able to get it right now I have a decent camera and flash
