"The Assassin"

UFC light-heavyweight contender Houston Alexander, a.k.a. "The Assassin", is pictured after the pre-fight press conference for UFC 75 in London on September 6. Houston is one of the nicest MMA guys I've ever met: he's well spoken, polite and he exudes a positive energy - but I still wouldn't want to step into the octagon with him!

This is another example of using a single SB-800 strobe off-camera via a TTL sync cord.

D2X, 17-55mm lens @ 26mm, f/5, ISO 800, 1/125 sec.

Yeah, another great shot. Attitude against the perfect backdrop - I always think brickwork works so well in this kind of portrait

Great attitude and again brickwork does work well. I did a portrait session with my son a while ago, just using the brickwork of the garage for a backdrop and it worked well.
