Great autumnal colours, for me the first is too dark but has the making of a great shot, the second is great, really lovelly colours.

Cheers, I like it as well - although it is slightly under exposed (or over polarised).

With regards
to the 2nd shot - no one has commented on the carpet of green on the pond surface

I did think about that, but couldn't decide whether it was a very neatly mown lawn or a pond but i think thats what i like about this shot is the contrast in colours between the green and the bronze of the trees
