Autumn is here...
.......so I thought I'd have a look at The RHS gardens at Harlow Carr near Harrogate. I seemed to have missed Autumn last year so this year I made sure of a few. TFL.

Lovely set, I love the last one with its huge range of colours and shades. I also like the strong cerise leaves, not sure if they are a touch brighter than you saw them or not, nature does have a way of astounding us sometimes so I don't doubt it could have been just like that

LOL Ian, will be a rare winter where I am if we do. Despite being in England, not somewhere like Florida (so shurrup Skip <g>) snow of any significance is rare as rocking horse droppings!
The last significant snowfall here in Poole/Bournemouth was 1985. By significant, I don't mean Alps level, just any snowfall which leaves snow on the ground 24 hours after it has stopped snowing.... which isn't actually a lot! I guess that's the price you pay for living in the sunniest place in the UK (based on sunshine hours). Oh whoa is me  Cheers, Rob

LOL Rob........I find it funny when I'm telling stories to the younger generation about when we used to have bad snow falls
 Sorry Stepheno for taking your thread of topic but the mention of snow makes me weak at the kness....I love it

Sorry for continuing OT, but the very mentioning of snow makes me wanna cry.
After spending the last 10 years backbrakingly shoveling snow every winter, I'm pretty much done with the white stuff  It can yield some wonderful shots that time of year, but that's a loss I'm willing to take. Snow should fall in certain places so people who wants it, can go visit it  My apologies to all the snow-lovers
