AV: A is for Apple
There are two versions of A is for Apple one in Photodex for those with the appropriate viewer and a low res version in YouTube.
The photodex version can be run in full screen mode when the image appears right click on it and select full screen. Photodex Corporation - Online Content Sharing - View Content If you click on the YouTube version when it is running it will open in the YouTube site, the picture will be about 20% bigger and that anoying YouTube logo disappears.

Re: AV: A is for Apple
Im sure Bill will tell you exactly but, its like Photoshop just use the layers. Pro Show has a layers section in the top, use one image as a background and add the other on top add effects or movements to whatever layer you want, and so on.

Re: AV: A is for Apple
Thanks Fiona.
It's all done in photoshop. The trick is to have all the bits for several images in layers in photoshop. That way all alignments can be set up to the nearest pixel. For each tree in A is for Apple the insets and the titles were all set up in layers in one PS file. When everything is lined up then each image is created by selecting the right layers for that image and saving the result as a jpeg file. In the AV you can get perfect alignment from image to image with no hassle. It is possible to use layers in ProShow gold or Pictures to Exe but you have much better control in Photoshop and don't have to fiddle with alignment when making up the AV. We had a talk at the Cheltenham Camera Club a couple of years ago by someone who said that he made up all of the images for each AV in layers in one Photoshop file. Re: AV: A is for Apple
It is far from simple to find your way round the site and I haven’t found anywhere that displays the url without running the AV.
This is how I did it. First go to the log in page by clicking on this link. Photodex Corporation - Login When you log in it takes you to a menu page. Click on “Sharing” to get a drop down menu and click on “Browse Member”. The new page is intended to allow you to input a member’s name in order to browse their AVs. Ignore this bit and look on the left hand side of the panel. Under “Albums” it says “My Collection” in tiny blue print, click on this and you get to a page showing your AVs. If you start one of your AVs then its page is called up. While it is running you can copy the url (i.e. the web address) from the address bar at the top of the window that your web browser is running in. I find it handy to immediately paste it into a word processor file and save it for future reference. When you Create a new thread in Pixalo just paste in the url. |
