Great shots Sean !

Was it some sort of convention though ? all those cameras and people on what look like PSP's lol

What happened to the poor girl in the first one, she seems a little shy of body ! lol

Some good captures there - particularly like the "Who had the extra fries?" shot, definately has realism about it.

Great shots, thanks for sharing

Me neither.

All these shots with primes I keep seeing lately are getting me very tempted.

Think the wide zoom will have to come first

Enjoyed the visit to you pictures - I do miss my prime Canon lenses from 35mm days. I must start saving up.

I only have primes now, they just suit me. I'm so used to picking up my 35 now that i know what i'm going to see before i look through the viewfinder. So i know where i need to be and where set the af point before i raise the camera.

Thanks for looking

Sean

I love my 50mm, especially on the 1D, it makes a huge difference to the FOV. That 1st shot is fine now Sean... no corruption... must be me.

Might be Pbase CT, you know how it gets

I love my 50mm to, the 35 and 50 are my most used lenses. I happen to be of the opinion that a 20D turns the 35mm 1.4 in to one of the best 50mm (it's not but you know what i mean) lenses there is

Great shots Sean (Again) Smashing job of processing into the monotone images you've shown as well. Any tips on that front.

You're too kind mate

I've got BW workflow pro which is a plug-in by Fred Miranda, there are a wealth of options, duo-tones, quad-tones manual & presets mods. Really is very good for BW fans . I also have his Velvia vision plug-in for colour, which is great

Can't say thanks enough for checking out my shots. I resize them for Pbase, but the files are too for embedding here, and i don't want to resize them any more then that, so thanks again for looking

I'll often fake interest in something around the person/people i actually want to shoot, i'll shoot random things, let people know that i'm interested in all manor of things, which always makes them forget me, also doesn't scare the pants of them if the notice me shoot them, though they seldom do.

I just normally shoot people right out, i have a shot of this guy in the thread i posted yesterday. But this one where i used my partner Diane as a fake subject, don't normally do it but i thought it looked interesting

Standard right out of the box candids that i never managed to work on yesterday
