[Whipspeed]

A few shots from my nightshoot in Bedford on Saturday. Bit chilly by the river, but worth it for me. Very pleased with the way the 40D handled the light. Shots taken with 10-20 and 17-40 in RAW settings manual around f10 and bulb exposure for as long as it took .

#1 - Butterfly bridge, not lit at all this one, apparently the residents said the lights were too bright. So got another tog to walk back and forth along it waving the torch.



#2 - Town Bridge, I love the blue light, much better than the green it used to be. One of the street lights was out, so I cloned one in to balance it.



#3 - Bandstand. Real shame that there are 2 electricity boxes next to this, but managed to get an angle that doesn't show them too much.


#4 - Building works. Just liked the way the cranes stood out, although they are not lit.

Thanks that was a simple 30 second exposure at f10, 15 seconds one way and 15 back.

Thank you all for the comments. I'm really enjoying my new years resolution of trying different things. Out with the same group again in march. Early morning canal locks are next.
