Hi Joe, nice to see you back with us. Two ways - if you are storing images off site then use the Insert Image button above. Alternatively you can upload your shots to your gallery space in Pixalo and then copy and paste the URL into your thread. If you are still stuck then post back.

JoeBuzz I edited your thread to include the url incl IMG tags that you see in your gallery inside the UBBcode box.....if you edit your thread you'll see the code

Lovely set of shots...you must be a very proud Dad of sucha great looking kid

I noticed the last & 1st shots were taken at very slow shutter speeds...obviously due to low light. In those situations you might be better off puching the ISO up a bit to allow you to use a faster shutter speed & thus eliminate any risk of camera shake showing in the shots.

Looking forward to some more shots

What a lovely lad, the pics are those of a proud father and rightly so :o)

I think you may have over-saturated the first one a touch, could do with the greens backing off just a little. But the rest is great, love his wonderful eyes. 2nd picture is an absolute corker, love that shot. If I was his dad, that would be straight in a frame on the wall for all to see :o)

Cheers,
Rob

So you think that the colours were a bit oversaturated my friend? I take notice of this so that in the near future the colours look more natural am i right? I dont like to fiddle a lot with photoshop and i shoot in raw and edit on dpp all of my shots also i would like to know if a monopod is a good piece of kit to include in my arsenal as i have a tripod and its kind of difficult to set up and takes time to set up especially when youre shooting kids you tell me if its a good addition thanks for your comments i appreciate a lot thanks again

When i up iso i see some artefect that i dont relly like even if the eos 350d is fairly good in this respect as i said before im still new and i can say that my hands are not so steady with the camera yet but now im getting better thanks to your advice im considering to add a monopod as the tripod takes time to set up and to shoot my kids you have to be quite quick ha ha thanks for the comments

Re: Been a lot busy lately

Joe, sorry I missed your question about a monopod: yes, I absolutely would recommend one. They are not expensive, even for a good solid one but they can make a huge difference. A tripod is great when you have the time and inclination to get it all set up and so forth but a monopod can be so much more user-friendly. Go out on a walk with your camera and the monopod becomes a walking staff! Put a ball-head on it, needn't be anything expensive but make sure it is strong enough to lock the camera in position with no more than a half-turn with the screw.

I never go out for walks and things without my monopod and think every outdoor photography should consider one a necessity.

Cheers,
Rob
