Cool shots! How do you hand hold and get sharp images? I use a tripod when I try stuff like this, and I cant even get the DOF right. Macro isnt my thing...............yet.

Thanks VE. I used an aperture of f4.5 which gave me enough leeway for a fast shutter speed (1/250). It helped that it was a sunny day so ISO was 100. Bees don't hang about long so a tripod is no good. Don't think they all turn out like that - there's plenty of duds
 Just give it a try...and keep trying.
