Beside the Sea
I've chosen to put up 3 images that i am a little frustrated with. There is something about each image that i like, however there is more that bugs me about them than not.
Image of two girls, is the one i am most happy with, however i would have liked the foreground to be a little more interesting, and one or two other niggly things. Image of the dog, i quite like the look and the feel of the image however the dogs pose is not exactly to my liking, maybe others will have a different view. Also for me the foreground is too cluttered and messy. Image of the girl, compositionally i am not overly happy with this one, and the bottom right hand corner has begun to get on my nerves a little. I have various other gripes with these images, i did say to start with though that there are things i like about them and this is why i am posting and sharing them. Isn't it written somewhere that you are your own worst critic? ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Re: Beside the Sea
I hope you don't mind me getting radical but just looking at these I felt the one of Olivia and the one of the dog might go well together so I gave it a go. I showed my wife (non-photographer) and she really likes it and she didn't realise until I showed her that it had come from two separate pictures.
Admittedly the scale is a touch out, either the dog is big or Olivia is very small here but I am using pimpers licence <g> Anyway, just an idea, see what you think. Cheers, Rob :o) ![]()

Re: Beside the Sea
That works really well, Rob. Nice one. Should make Lolyton happier with them

Re: Beside the Sea
Ive just seen what you've done Rob, and i actually really like it. I think i'm gonna have a play with the originals and see if i can come up with something not too dissimilar to what you've done.
Thanks for pointing it out, it is something that i would have never seen. |
